A love offering is received at the
children's opening service. The amount given by the
children is not our focus, but that the children
learn the importance of giving as a way of life.
Giving to where they receive their good is an
important lesson. Money the children earn or receive
as a gift can be shared in a meaningful way with
their church home. Children easily learn and grow
spiritually from practicing tithing. That is a
lesson that parents can also teach children in
determining together what financial gift they will
give. Although they will still be sharing and giving
when handed money for the offering, it will not have
the same meaning and lesson. Talk with your children
about the ideas behind giving and tithing. Thank you
for helping your children understand at an early age
the value of giving where good is received.

“Conscious Discipline is a
Shift from seeking to create an ‘obedient’ child to
nurturing a productive member of your family

your young one. Conscious Discipline can teach you

life you dream of having. New data are providing
